Nearby my house there’s a lovely Cherry blossom park and now, at the beginning of spring, the first flowers are blossoming… I can’t wait to see it all covered in pink! Just a few days to go…
Cirerers en flor
A prop de casa meva hi ha un parc de cirerers que ara, amb l’inici de la primavera, han començat a florir… no puc esperarme a veure l’espectacle al complert quan tot el jardí estigui tenyit de color rosa… ja falta poc!
I know this photo challenge is taking me forever… 
But, step by step, one day I will complete it!

When I only had a compact camera I was dreaming about being the proud owner of a DSRL… and now that I have it all I am really getting addicted to instagram. And my instagram pictures are only to be taken with an iPhone 4s… not the greatest camera in the market but so handy and with me just about all the time!
And you? Are you also getting addicted to the point and shot art of instagram photography with an iphone?
For me instagram brings me the freedom of taking just any pic I want (quickly and clean). Of course the results can be disappointing sometimes but the nice effects that come with instagram just give it the right touch!

Quan només tenia una cámara compacta somiava amb el día que tindria a les meves mans una veritable cámara, una reflex digital… i ara que ho he aconseguit i que puc disfrutar aprenent fotografía amb la meva joia… ara m’he aficionat de mala manera a instagram, un programa disenyat per fer fotos i compartir-les amb iPhone. I les meves fotos d’instagram només es poden fer amb un iPhone 4s… normes de la casa! No es la millor càmara del món pero es molt útil i la tinc a les mans casi tot el dia… perfecte per una foto ràpida!
I vosaltres? També us esteu aficionant a fer fotos d’apuntar i disparar amb l’art d’instagram i un iPhone a les mans?
Per mi instagram em dona la llibertat de fer les fotos que vull (ràpid i fàcil). Es calr que el resultat a vegades pot ser… decepcionant; pero els filtres que aporta instagram li donen el toc just.
So here I am today playing around (and for the first time) with the default filters that come with my DSLR. It’s too dark and cold outside to be going on some photo expedition so I decided to focus my attention on my bathroom today. I haven’t edited the pictures after taking them (except resize) but I used instead a couple of filters that come with my camera, the toy picture effect and the black and white grain…
I have a Canon EOS 60D. If you want to try using filters on your DSLR it’s pretty easy. Take a picture (or as many as you wish) then, when viewing the pictures on the LCD screen press the [Q] button. A list of icons display on the left hand side of the LCD screen, the fourth one, a couple of circles allows ou to use the creative filters on the selected picture. The good thing is the camera will still keep your originals but allows you to create a quick copy using one of the filters available. In this case I have Grainy B/W, Soft focus, Toy camera effect and Miniature effect.

It’s cold, actually freezing cold, and it’s a good time for ice skating in Netherlands. Canals, lakes, anything with frozen water will do for the most adventurous. Here’s a nice pic I took this morning…
Today I’ve been playing around with my iPhone. Just discovered an app. I downloaded a while ago to edit pics called Snapseed. In this post you can see my first attempts of photo editing with iPhone… it’s just too much fun!
I want to share today some pics of my stay in the beautiful city of Cologne, in Germany. I planned my visit to the city in early December so that I could also enjoy a stroll in the famous Christmas markets. Both the markets and the landmarks of this city are worth visiting. I’d highly recommend a visit to this city in late October.
Colònia, Alemania
Avui m’agradaria compartir aquí unes quantes fotos de la meva estada a la encantadora ciutat de Colònia, a Alemanya. Vaig planejar la visita a Colònia a principis de desembre per així poder aprofitar i passejar pels famosos mercats de Nadal que es celebren a aquesta cuitat. Val molt la pena visitar tant els mercats como els monuments d’aquesta ciutat. Ho recomano a tothom qui en tingui la oportunitat.

Estem a finals de novembre i els arbres ja estàn casi despullats de fulles aquí a Holanda… uns dies més de tardor i aviat plantarem cara a un hivern ben fred.
